Fuel prices rise; petrol to cost between ¢12.69-¢13.20 per litre

This Monday, April 17, 2023, gasoline prices at the pumps have skyrocketed.

This is the first increase since the much-touted “Gold for Oil” policy was implemented.

The cost of gasoline and diesel has increased at all of the major Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), including GOIL, Total, and Shell.

Diesel and gasoline are being sold by GOIL for ¢12.99 and ¢13.10, respectively, per liter. Additionally, Shell is charging ¢13.10 cents per liter for gasoline while charging ¢12.99 for diesel.

However, Total sells both gasoline and diesel at a price of ¢13.20 and ¢12.69 respectively.
