Grammy-winning artist from Ghana, Kwesi Arthur,  has cut off his distinctive dreadlocks and has adopted a shortcut.

The singer of the famous song “Grind Day,” who gained popularity for rocking a wild hairdo, has made “all African mothers” proud with a brand-new haircut.

Remember how the singer’s father, Mr. Danso, stated in public several years ago that he has never been a fan of his son’s dreadlocks and would be more than pleased if he got rid of them.

The father claimed that it was bad for both his son, who must uphold a good reputation, and his reputation as an elder in his church.

Fortunately, Kwesi has taken his father’s advice into consideration, which is the cause for his new respectable haircut.

While some online users praise him for seeming more respectable, others criticize him for changing his well-known appearance.
