The Ghana Police Service has detained a man named Richard Quaye who is rumored to be the sugar daddy of troubled socialite-turned-musician Hajia4Real.

The wealthy businessman’s wife, Joana Quaye, allegedly prompted his detention, and the matter has already been filed with Accra Circuit Court 1.

According to reports, his wife denounced him for domestic violence while informing the authorities that they had been married and cohabitating at their Dansoman home for twelve (12) years.

She continued by saying that their lovely marriage had altered approximately a year prior when the businessman kicked her and their children out of their marital residence.

Since that occurrence, Joana stated that her husband has abandoned them and only sends money for the maintenance of their three children through errand boys.

She continued by saying that ever since, every time she tries to have a chat with him, it results in multiple cases of abuse.

Richard, however, argued in his defense that he had to leave the marital residence because his wife had been abusive for the previous year.

He went to remain in his East Legon home, but after losing it due to a loan payment default, he made the decision to go back to his marital home in Dansoman.

But he chose to move them to another house in Mamprobi knowing full well that his wife would cause him problems.

After breaking into Hajia4Real’s birthday party and dousing her with cash, Richard Quaye caused a stir.

He allegedly gave Hajia4Real a house and a brand-new automobile during that time as part of her birthday presents.

This triggered romance rumors across other websites. After the socialite was taken into custody, his name was mentioned once more.
