At Peace Town, a neighborhood of Ngleshie Amanfro in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra area, a mother and her two children are said to have drowned.

On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, amid a rainfall, the sad tragedy took place.

They were reportedly trying to flee the flash flood floods that had entered their home before being swept away.

Nii Quashon, a witness, informed the reporters that despite their cries for assistance, nothing could be done.

Instead, he claimed that people hurried to homes to save persons who were trapped inside.

He claimed that a search for the mother and kids had been launched in the hopes of finding them.

The severe rains have also blocked off Peace Town from Amanfro.

Thus, they are requesting assistance from the National Disaster Management Organization.
