A recent diss track by BET Award-winning musician Sarkodie directed against Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has been taken down from two of the country’s top music streaming services.

In her recently published memoir, Yvonne Nelson describes how Sarkodie deserted her when she became pregnant. Online discussions were triggered by Yvonne Nelson’s book “#IAmNotYvonneNelson” because of its surprising disclosures and references to numerous people.

Simply put, the debate over Yvonne Nelson’s book is still ongoing in light of the impromptu damage control by Sarkodie’s “Try Me” song.

In reaction to Yvonne Nelson’s book, Sarkodie dropped a diss song titled; “Try Me” to explain his side of the story.

But his song received a lot of backlash after it was released.

It has since been removed from Apple music and Spotify.
