The Office of Special Prosecutor has detained Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, who resigned from her position as Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources on Saturday, for suspected corruption and offenses related to corruption.

Her detention is related to the five defendants who are on trial for allegedly stealing significant amounts of money and other personal property from her Abelempke residence in Accra.
