The current Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, has vowed to remain in the running to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

One of the four candidates vying to lead the party, Mr. Agyapong, declared his intention to stand his ground against all opposition. On November 4, the NPP will choose its flagbearer, setting the stage for a crucial choice in the course of the party.

Mr. Agyapong declared on his platform on X, which was once Twitter, on Tuesday, “I’m not going to step down for anybody.”

In a different online video, he underlined the value of waiting until the election’s naturally end before considering any post-election options.
