A prison officer has apprehended a trotro mate for wearing a security uniform while operating trotro in Accra. The unidentified man was arrested for impersonating a security officer.

The incident has sparked discussions about the increasing cases of impersonation and the need for stricter measures to prevent such occurrences.

In a statement issued on Monday, October 14, and signed by the Director of Public Affairs, Eric Aggrey Quarshie, GAF warned the public about the increasing misuse of military-style attire and equipment by civilians.

GAF also encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities involving unauthorized use of military uniforms and reassured citizens of its commitment to maintaining law and order.
